About
Jazz artist Joshua Espinoza believes in the power of music to heal and uplift an increasingly stratified world. The Baltimore-based pianist blends and bends genres into original compositions and arrangements that are immediately relatable, yet hard to define. Prior collaborators include such notable artists as Warren Wolf, Paul Bollenback, Miho Hazama, John D’earth, Mike Pope, Kris Funn, Todd Marcus, and Chuck Redd. A recent semi-finalist in several national and international jazz competitions, his playing is tastefully modern yet firmly rooted in the jazz tradition of his fore-bearers.
