Saxophonist, Rick Alberico, hails from Central New York and has performed throughout the United States, Europe, Asia, North Africa, and the Middle East. He is known for his unique sound and has performed as a sideman with jazz greats Clark Terry, Phil Woods, and Dave Brubeck. Rick also spent more than a decade as a working musician in New York City while being mentored by world-renowned drummer Jimmy Wormworth and legendary saxophonist, Charles Davis. Now, after a career spanning more than three decades, this veteran musician makes his home in the Washington, D.C. area and is recording his much anticipated debut album entitled “A New Freedom.”
