An acclaimed Brazilian guitarist will headline the 14th annual Jazz at the Lake concert on Saturday, January 19, at 7:30 p.m. in Columbia, Md. A prodigy who began playing studio sessions at age 14, Chico Pinheiro has released six acclaimed albums. “One of the brightest lights on the Brazilian jazz scene,” the Boston Globe raved about him.
The award-winning Wilde Lake High School Jazz Ensemble will open the show, and perform one piece with the guest artists.
