Now-and-then Jazz Quartet at Trinacria Cafe

As part of a new Thursday night jazz series, vocalist Liz Fixsen, a familiar presence in the Baltimore jazz scene, will sing favorite jazz standards, accompanied by a lively and accomplished trio of sidemen: guitarist Steve Caballero, who recently led the straight-ahead jazz jam at Liam Flynn's; bassist (and vocalist) Ben Grant, who also led that jazz jam and plays a regular Sunday brunch gig at Rams Head in Savage; and drummer Nick Stevens, who gets around in Baltimore sharing his great drum chops.

Spun off from a nearby Italian deli, the Trinacria Cafe is a friendly downtown bar and eatery featuring fantastic fresh sandwiches, paninis, and Italian subs, all served in generous portions at a great value...
