Tongue In Cheek Presents Mobtown Strutters Ball at Creative Alliance

Baltimore’s Tongue in Cheek and the Mobtown Strutters with special guest, the Bellevederes, welcome one and all to the Creative Alliance for the first Mobtown Strutters Ball. It will be a night of dancing to vintage music that pays tribute to New Orleans greats like Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, and Jabbo Smith, as well as the kings and queens of soul--Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin. Guests are invited to come attired in vintage dress of any era from the 1920s to the 1960s.

Tongue in Cheek is led by vocalist Bridget Cimino and double bassist Zach Serleth. Together they explore the New Orleans Jass tradition, discovering long-forgotten songs, reinventing old favorites, and bringing together some of Baltimore’s best horn players for a foot- stomping good time. ...

Tongue in Cheek will be joined by The Bellevederes.
