Julia Keefe, an internationally acclaimed Native American (Nez Perce )jazz vocalist, bandleader, actor and educator, brings her quartet to Camden, Maine! Jazz in June’s Friday Featured Concert is opened by the Greg Abate Trio, led by the hard-driving bebop jazz saxophonist, flutist and composer who plays festivals and clubs throughout the United States, Canada, and abroad.
Concert follows 12:30-2 p.m.: Jazz on the Village Green featuring the Midcoast Music Academy Jazz Ensemble w/special guest – free, Elm and Chestnut streets; and 5-6:30 p.m.: Jazz reception featuring Robin Lane at Lucky Betty’s, 46 Elm St. Concert is followed by 9-11 p.m.: Late Night Jazz Jam at Bistro La Cave, 7 Public Landing....
