Legendary keyboardist Bruce Katz has released eleven CDs as a leader and appeared on over seventy other recordings. The Bruce Katz Band's trademark sound blends B3 organ and guitar into "blues-soul-jazz”, and New Orleans-inspired roots music - occupying a unique space, where blues and Americana collide.

In addition to leading the Bruce Katz Band, Katz has played with the Delbert McClinton Band, Jaimoe's Jasssz Band, Ronnie Earl and John Hammond, the latter (Hammond) with whom he still plays on occasion. Bruce was also a full-time member of both of Butch Trucks' bands, The Freight Train Band and Les Brers.

His newest CD, "Solo Ride" is being released. It is his first ever solo piano album, featuring eleven original compositions. Bruce will be playing an opening solo piano set featuring many of these compositions, before bringing the full band onto the stage.
