Jaco Pastorius will forever be remembered as a pioneer of the electric bass, and as a pivotal contributor to modern music. Pastorius revolutionized how the bass guitar is played and is, for many, the finest and most influential bass guitarist in the history of modern music. Born December 1, 1951, we approach the eve of Pastorius's birthday, when Common Tongue and special guests perform music composed and inspired by him.
Common Tongue, individually and collectively, have had the pleasure of playing with and supporting a multitude of artists throughout the Hudson Valley.
