Video artist, Mary Ross, has created videotapes and photographs projected in performance - organized, arranged and edited to Eric's music. For this performance, Eric and Mary Ross will present works from his recent CD "Music from the Future".

Eric has presented concerts of his music at Lincoln Center, (NYC) Kennedy Center (Wash, DC), Disney Redcat Center (LA), Newport Jazz,, Berlin, Montreux and North Sea Jazz Festivals, Brussels, Prague, Copenhagen Festivals, Guggenheim Bilbao Museum, among others worldwide. For over twenty five years he's led his ensemble featuring jazz giants, John Abercrombie, Larry Coryell, Andrew Cyrille, Oliver Lake, Leroy Jenkins, New Music Virtuosos Youseff Yancy, Lydia Kavina, Robert Dick, and many others.
Eric Ross began playing the Theremin in 1975. Since 1976, with his wife, Mary Ross, he has presented multimedia performances with video, music and dance. A recent project is the Ultimedia Concept program at UNESCO World Heritage sites including Guggenheim- Bilbao Museum, Spain; Residenz Palace, Wurzburg; Bauhaus- Dessau, Germany; Casada Musica Portugal.
Eric Ross was a friend of Theremin virtuoso Clara Rockmore, and electronics pioneer, Robert Moog. In 1991, he met and played for the inventor of the instrument, Professor Lev Termen. He's drawn inspiration from them to develop the Theremin as a voice in his own compositions.

Fine art photographer and visual artist, Mary Ross,began using video and computers to produce still images on film. As one of the first fine art photographers to do so, her images provide some of the earliest examples of how photography, video and computer technology converged in the 70s, emerged in the 80s and 90s and evolved. Recognized as a pioneer of digital photography, her photographs and video art have been featured in the hundreds of multimedia performances she has produced in collaboration with Eric Ross, and various musicians and dancers. She exhibited extensively at galleries and museums in the United States, Europe, Israel and Japan. Her photographs are in the permanent collections of the Kunsthaus, Zurich; International Polaroid Collection; Herbert Johnson Museum of Art at Cornell University; King's Library, Copenhagen, Bibliothèque Nationale; Paris and the Lincoln Center Library Dance Collection. Her archive is at the Rose Goldsen archive for New Media Art at Cornell University and at LIMA in Amsterdam, NL.
