Kingston High School Jazz Cabaret at The Falcon

The Kingston School’s Jazz Cabaret is an annual showcase and fundraiser for five district jazz bands. All donations will fund the jazz program.

Over the years the KHS Jazz Ensemble has had the privilege of working and performing with jazz greats, Wycliffe Gordon, Aaron Diehl, Dennis Mackrel, John Mosca, Jim Snidero, Mike Clark and Chris Vadala.
The JE has distiguished itself at the highest level in the state music festival (NYSSMA) for 15 consecutive years. In 2010 one of our students was selected for the national GRAMMY band. In 2009, KHS placed 2nd among the top 15 jazz ensembles in the nation by the Essentially Ellington Competition directed by Wynton Marsalis at Jazz at Lincoln Center, NYC. ...

Our Alumni have attended prestigious music schools - New School, SUNY Purchase, New England Conservatory of Music, Ithaca College, University of Maryland, and Crane School of Music.
