Brainchild of world renown drummer-percussionist Leon Parker, The Embodijazz Ensemble is a uniquely cooperative jazz ensemble whose members have been associated with the likes of Gerry Mulligan, Benny Carter, Quincy Jones, Johnny Griffin, Dewey Redman, Lee Konitz, Betty Carter, Brad Mehldau, and Cecile McLorin Salvant, among others.

Combining standard and original repertoire and deeply rooted in tradition, there is a true sense of freedom, an indelible emphasis on swing, and always a melody to grab onto.
