Maiko's unique voice has been attracting jazz and non-jazz audiences. all over the world. Trained in the US and Japan, with Mari Shinonome, Teri Roiger, Jay Clayton, and Sheila Jordan, Maiko's outstanding teachers brought her into the world of jazz voice and jazz philosophy.
As a contemporary singer, she crafts emotion from traditional jazz standards. Her voice opens the mind and brings joy.
