Opener: Tom Polizzi & Rachel Merriam at The Falcon

Tom Polizzi and Rachel Merriam are up-and-coming jazz guitarists not to be missed. Both are freshmen at Western Connecticut State University in the noted program under Jimmy Greene, Jamie Begian, and Chris Morrison. They quickly found a unique sound together as a guitar duo.
With both of their well-developed and distinct voices on the guitar, they create a musical atmosphere that is fresh and engaging. Tom has also opened at the Falcon several times in the past for artists such as Dave Stryker, Judi Silvano, Fleurine with Brad Mehldau, and the Peter Bernstein Quartet.
