A high school senior in Rockland County, NY, Isabella Englert, has been studying piano since she was four years old, and began to play the guitar, casually, in eighth grade. She was singing and writing music in her freshman year of high school. When she was accepted into the competitive Grammy Camp program, she realized music was her passion. She attended singing and songwriting workshops at The Berklee School of Music, and has been accepted at both Berklee and the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music to study songwriting. Last fall she recorded her first EP of original songs entitled “Closer to Roses,” now available on iTunes...
