Opening Act-Erica Enriquez and the Old Time Band at The Falcon

The Old Time Music Band is an ensemble, created by a student and a member of the faculty member at Poughkeepsie Day School in the early 2000’s. This was a group welcoming all the school's musicians to play songs together within the realm of folk and country/rock - “old time music”.

With the graduation of the founding student, the band discontinued for a year. However, the following year, it was revived by the students and musicians Erica Enriquez (vocals, guitar, ukulele) and Sophia Ptacek (vocals), with the sound and ambiance of the original ensemble, and an added flair of “new old time” songs – more modern folk, in addition to the classic tunes the group played. ...

Tonight the group will be playing a selection of “old and new time” music, along with original songs written by Erica Enriquez.
