Formed in the spring of 2009, The New Lazy Boys are the vehicle for the songwriting of singer Chris Gilli. A Brooklyn native; Chris decided to bring his mix of rootsy; country rock & swing-inspired writing to the Hudson Valley. Always positive & uplifting; Chris found true inspiration in his surroundings after settling in Bearsville.
The New Lazy Boys are currently recording at Professor Louie’s Studio (The Cromatix/ The Band) / Woodstock Records in Hurley, NY. Chris is backed by the ever-energetic rhythm section of Bruce Hutchins on Drums and Vocals & Rod Archer on Bass & Vocals.
