Robert Kopec's Bigbang Big Band at Quinn's

One of the premier big bands in the Hudson Valley, the bigBANG led by bassist Robert Kopec, makes its first appearance at Quinn's on Sunday, August 6 at 8 PM. Regularly performing with a variety of major artists locally and internationally, Robert Kopec has long been recognized as one of the finest bassists in the Hudson Valley. His bigBANG has held a long-standing monthly residency at the legendary Falcon in Marlboro, NY. For this first concert at Quinn's, RK has gathered some of the most accomplished musicians in the region, some of whose past associations include such renowned big bands as those led by Thad Jones and Mel Lewis, Buddy Rich and Maria Schneider, among many others.
