Marilyn Crispell has been a composer and performer of contemporary improvised music since 1978. For ten years, she was a member of the Anthony Braxton Quartet and the Reggie Workman Ensemble, and she has performed and recorded extensively as a soloist and with players on the American and international jazz scene, also working with dancers, poets, film-makers and visual artists, and teaching workshops in improvisation. She has been the recipient of three New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship grants, a Guggenheim Fellowship, and a Mary Flagler Cary Charitable Trust composition commission.
An accomplished international Jazz artist, Joe Fonda has performed with his own ensembles throughout the United States ,Canada , Europe and Asia. He has collaborated and performed with such artists as Anthony Braxton ,Archie Shepp, Ken McIntyre, Lou Donaldson, Bill and Kenny Barron, Leo Smith, Perry Robinson, Dave Douglas, Curtis Fuller, , Bill Dixon, Han Bennink, Bobby Naughton, Xu Fengia, Randy Weston, Gebhard Ullmann, Carla Bley, Carlo Zingaro, Barry Altschul, Billy Bang.
Harvey Sorgen’s vast and diverse career as a drummer/percussionist has led to surrounding himself with a wide reaching “breath” of artists who all have an individual sound. His orchestral concept on and off the instrument has distinguished Harvey as one of the truly unique drummers of our time… A few of the many artists Harvey has performed and /or recorded with include: Hot Tuna, Paul Simon, Derrick Trucks, Jimmy Vivino, Roswell Rudd, Dewey Redman, Bill Frisell, among many others.
