Weather Vest is a mixed wind quartet that explores commonality between classical chamber music, small group jazz, and folk music. Programs emphasize a democratic curatorial sensibility by aligning Shostakovich and Lili Boulanger with Raymond Scott and Thelonius Monk; Earl Scruggs with Stravinsky and Morton Feldman; among many others.

Quartet members perform regularly with groups such as the International Contemporary Ensemble, Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Roy Hargrove Big Band, Radio City Orchestra, Vanguard Jazz Orchestra and the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra.
