Jeff Lederer is a saxophonist/clarinetist whose unique musical language balances the values of ecstatic expression and swing. His playing has been described as “Slaying dragons” (NPR) and a “mix of Ben Webster and Albert Ayler” by the San Diego Reader. In addition to leading his own groups Jeff is a regular member of the Matt Wilson Quartet. Lederer's Latin-inspired interpretation of Vivaldi's Four Seasons, “Los Sazones” was commissioned and premiered by the Chicago Symphony in 2003 and has been performed as well as by the Los Angeles Philharmonic and was ecstatically welcomed by the Chicago Tribune as a unique contribution to the canon of jazz/classical fusion works....

Jazz pianist, organist, and accordionist Gary Versace is one of the busiest musicians on the international jazz scene, often featured in bands led by names such as John Scofield, Maria Schneider, John Abercrombie, Al Foster, Regina Carter, Ellery Eskelin, Ray Anderson, Kurt Elling, Madeleine Peyroux, Matt Wilson, Brad Shepik, Ingrid Jensen and many others. Versace continues to appear annually in the Downbeat’s Critics and Reader’s Polls, and won the Jazz Journalists’ Association’s ‘Best Instrumentalist –Instruments Rare In Jazz (accordion) award in 2018 and their ‘Organist of the Year’ award in 2012.
Chris Lightcap is an accomplished bassist and composer with a wide-ranging performing and recording career. He has worked with Marc Ribot, Regina Carter, Craig Taborn, Glen Hansard, Mark Turner, John Medeski, Jason Moran, The Kronos Quartet, Tomasz Stanko, Chris Potter, Paul Motian, John Scofield, Dave Liebman, Paquito D’Rivera, Anthony Braxton, Joe Morris, Sheila Jordan, James Carter, Butch Morris, Ben Monder, Mary Halvorson, and many other artists. His playing is featured on over 80 albums and as a bandleader/composer he has produced six critically acclaimed albums of original music.
