Primarily known for his stellar session work, Joe Caro has appeared with various artists and in television's great house bands such as The Late Show with David Letterman, Saturday Night Live and The Grammy Awards. Joe's recording sessions for commercials and movies are countless!
In the 90’s he formed BFD with drummer Steve Ferrone and bassist Will Lee playing the NYC club circuit and featuring guest artists Donald Fagen, Michael McDonald, Pat Metheny, The Brecker Brothers, and Felix Cavaieri of the Young Rascals. That association produced the CD “BFD”, featuring many guests artists, 10 of his original compositions, and the production credit.
A stint in the New York underground scene fronting an all-star band with trumpeter Chris Botti, saxman Lenny Pickett, and Late Show drummer Anton Fig, began as a 2 week gig at The Metropolitan Cafe and continued for 8 years! This became the home base for many legendary NYC session musicians.
Caro's brief Hendrix collaboration with Acid Reign featured the dynamic vocals of Sophia Ramos.
Joe has just completed his first solo CD entitled “Home Alone”. Recorded almost entirely at his home studio in Maui, Hawaii, featuring contributions from keyboardist Ricky Peterson, drummers Steve Ferrone, Anton Fig, and Shawn Pelton and bassist Will Lee. His first instrumental release to date!

Since 1986 Anton has been a member of the "CBS Orchestra" (also the house band for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame), appearing nightly on 'The Late Show with David Letterman'. During this tenure he has played with scores of notable artists and at events including VH1's Save the Music concert at the White House. Likely the hardest working man in the music industry, Anton has played with Paul Simon, Booker T and the MG's, The Thompson Twins at Live Aid, Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Kiss, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Joan Armatrading, Rosanne Cash, Joe Cocker, John Phillips, Warren Zevon, Paul Butterfield, and alongside Jim Keltner for Bob Dylan's 30th Anniversary concert.
Anton continues to be one of the most in demand musicians on the scene and is currently recording and composing for numerous projects. His first solo record entitled "Figments", produced and co-written by Fig, represents 3 years of work and includes Richie Havens, Brian Wilson, Ivan Neville, Sebastian Bach, Ace Frehley, Al Kooper, Chris Spedding, Donald 'Duck' Dunn, Blondie Chaplin, Paul Shaffer, Chris Botti, Randy Brecker and Richard Bona.
