Feathery presents original music, with strong emphasis on musical communication, free improvisation, instant compositional decisions. The goal of this project is to blur the lines between musical composition and spontaneous intention. All players are profoundly experienced and have a long history of stellar jazz performance, which enables the quartet to create outstanding musical results. After 4 years of live performance in NYC and Brooklyn, quartet released an album "Heart Knows" on Fresh Sound Records and is currently doing series of CD release concerts. Feathery quartet is planning a European tour in the spring 2018.
