Marvin “Bugalu” Smith has been swinging his own as well as those of Sun Ra, Chet Baker, Archie Shepp, Charles Mingus, among others. As a young musician, Smith studied with the great master drummers: Max Roach, Elvin Jones, Philly Joe Jones, Roy Hayes, Art Taylor, and his own brother Earl “Buster” Smith.The animated, colorfully eccentric Smith has been teaching young people - in the US and Italy - to understand how the masters developed their power on the drums.

Keyboardist/composer, Neil Alexander, remains passionately involved in production, live sound, musical theater, modern dance and film. He released his first solo piano CD “Darn That Dream: Solo Piano Vol. 1” to critical acclaim. He has worked with variety of artists such as Gunther Hampel, Tal Ross (P-Funk), Erik Lawrence, and The Adaptors Movement Theater, held the keyboard chair in Gregg Bendian’s “Mahavishnu Project”, and in the successful Pink Floyd Tribute “The Machine“, where he was a driving force in the group’s sound and subsequent success. ...
