For the first Monday in November, as in years past, we celebrate not the birth but the LIFE of the colossus of Poughkeepsie, the great multi-instrumentalist, poet and ineluctable creative force, Joe McPhee. This November 3, Joe turns 83 (!!!) years young, and on November 7, we’ll celebrate every day BUT his birthday in the company such long-standing friends and musical partners soprano saxophonist Joe Giardullo, bassist Michael Bisio, drummer Jay Rosen and guests throughout the night. Come join us as e celebrate an artist busy being born every day on 11/7.
