It was a key release in Hancock's career and a defining moment in the genre of jazz, and has been an inspiration for jazz, funk, soul and hip-hop artists alike. To Celebrate Jazz Appreciation Month Mr. GONE will perform Headhunters in its entirety along with select compositions of saxophonist Wayne Shorter.
