Parc X trio, an instrumental jazz group based in Montreal (Canada), are the winners of the TD Grand Prize for Jazz from the 2010 Festival International de jazz de Montréal.

After a successful tour of nine major jazz festivals last summer (Vancouver, Victoria, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal [FIJM and OFFJAZZ], St-John's, Halifax and Québec city) with their second opus, Cent questions sans réponse, Parc X trio returned to the studio to record their new material. The group is a breath of fresh air on the contemporary jazz scene with a sound heavily influenced by rock, urban beats and pop style melodies. Parc X trio will tour across Ontario, Europe and USA (east coast) in 2013-14.
