Tom Polizzi is a Fifteen year old jazz guitar player,Tom Polizzi, started playing at the age of nine, drawing his roots from the blues. He found his love of jazz at thirteen. Tom studies at the prestigious Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts, where he is a prominent jazz guitar major.
Through the Academy, Tom met his bandmates, bassist/pianist Andre Bernier, and drummer Jacob Patrone. The Trio explores jazz and fusion, drawing influence from Roy Hargrove, Snarky Puppy, Bad Plus, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, and Thelonious Monk. These gifted young cats pursue a sound that is original, and pays tribute to their inspirations.
