About
Jan de Haas, who was awarded first prize at the 1982 Hoeilaart European Jazz Contest, is more than just a gifted percussionist. He is also great on drums, which he has proved on many occasions on various recordings and during performances with no less than Chet Baker, Eddie Daniels, Toots Thielemans, Philip Catherine, Steve Houben, Richard Rousselet, Michel Herr, Jacques Pelzer, Jack Van Poll, Nathalie Loriers, Erwin Vann, Pirly Zurstrassen, Jerome Richardson and many others.
