Lollo Meier, the Dutch gypsy guitarist, aims to convey the music of Django Reinhardt via a technique which is traditional, melodious and lyrical, as well as delicate and full of drive. His own luscious compositions have an authentic and refreshing feel, reminiscent of Django.
In 2005, he reached the final of the “International Songwriting Competition” with his “Melody for Le Quecumbar”.
