With the help of the other members of his trio, Mauel Hermia leads us into a world of jazz steeped in tradition yet open to all influences. Their music is modern and daring, whilst remaining accessible.
It includes some of his work created from the concept of “Rajazz” – unique sounds created from the alloy of a palette of colours and a quest for harmony. Other work skips along the outer limits of jazz, with emotions ranging from the sweetest and deepest to the craziest and most furious. This is a modern trio, full of groove and melody, who endeavour to honour the libertarian spirit of jazz.
