The night will open with Franco-American, New World jazz guitarist Alex Martin, strongly influenced by the Brazilian tradition. Alex’s set will focus on the Brazilian-flavored pieces in his repertoire, presenting a baiao & forro flavor (associated with Northeast Brazil). For the second act of the evening, Brazilian Jazz vocalist Emy Tseng will be focusing on bossa nova & samba (associated with Rio de Janeiro).
