The California Guitar Trio is Paul Richards of Salt Lake City, Bert Lams of Belgium and Hideyo Moriya of Japan. Although they first met in England in 1987 while studying with iconic King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp and toured as part of Fripp’s League of Crafty Guitarists, the three convened in L.A. Together, their technical wizardry is breathtaking, as they perform everything from unique originals to dazzling, cleverly-arranged interpretations of jazz, classical and even surf rock.
