Brought up listening to Oscar Peterson, Art Tatum and Erroll Garner, David Newton is now one of the best pianists in the country. Always in demand, David has collaborated with the likes of Alan Barnes, Don Weller, Martin Taylor, Buddy de Franco, Guy Barker, Carol Kidd, Marion Montgomery, Tina May, Annie Ross, Claire Martin and Stacey Kent, but here presents an exquisite solo performance of the highest order. David is also one of the judges for the Nottingham International Jazz Piano competition.
