Aardvark Jazztet at Dartmouth Street Boston

The Aardvark Jazztet, a small ensemble drawn from The Aardvark Jazz Orchestra, will perform for the dedication of a memorial sculpture, honoring Kip Tiernan, a lifelong crusader for social justice, founder of Rosie’s Place, and co-founder of the Poor Peoples United Fund. Kip was a fan and close friend of Mark Harvey and the entire Aardvark Jazz Orchestra for many decades. The band played several benefit concerts for Rosie’s Place and PPUF.
