The BALTIC TRANSIT Sextet is a collaboration among the following accomplished European-born musicians, who bring a special sound and concept to music: Arta Jēkabsone - voice, Rihards Kolmanis - guitar, Sintija Grigorjeva - bass, Ilona Kudiņa - flute, Maxim Lubarsky - piano, and Bertram Lehmann - drums. Inspired by Latvian and American contemporary jazz music, this program will take you on a voyage through original compositions, Latvian folk song arrangements, and adventurous improvisations.
