Bert has performed and recorded with jazz luminaries Joe Lovano, Tim Hagans, George Garzone, Bob Moses, Jorge Roeder, Joe Hunt, Richie Barshay, John Lockwood and Hery Paz. He has toured with his band extensively both in the United States and internationally in China, Hungary, Bulgaria, Ecuador, Peru, Canada, Israel, Jordan, and Japan.
Bert is on the faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music, the first conservatory of music in the United States and the first conservatory to have a jazz department.
Three-time winner of an extended residency in music composition at MacDowell, the artists’ colony in Peterborough, New Hampshire. Bert has also been a recipient of a National Endowment of the Arts grant for jazz.
He is a graduate of Haverford College and earned a masters degree from the New England Conservatory of Music.

American saxophonist Nathan Reising is a rising star in the jazz world, possessing a level of artistry and sophistication beyond his years. His playing combines a beautiful, crystal clear tone and refined sense of melody with blistering chops that move and delight audiences wherever he performs.
Nathan is a graduate of the 2016 Betty Carter's Jazz Ahead Program, an international jazz residency program for outstanding young artist-composers held at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. During his residency at the Kennedy Center, Nathan worked closely with modern jazz luminaries Jason Moran, Eric Harland, Eric Revis, Cyrus Chestnut, Andre Hayward, Carmen Lundy, and J.D. Allen. He has had the privilege of performing alongside modern jazz luminaries such as Sean Jones, Wycliffe Gordon, Ra-kalam Bob Moses, Ran Blake, and Miguel Zenon.
A native of Baltimore, MD, Nathan began studying piano at the age of 4 and eventually picked up the saxophone at age 10 after being inspired by the music of John Coltrane. He currently resides in Boston, MA, where he maintains a busy performing and teaching schedule.

Growing up in Australia, James Heazlewood-Dale discovered a passion for playing jazz double bass and was accepted into the Sydney Conservatorium with a full scholarship. After receiving a first class honors he relocated to Boston to study at Berklee School of music with a further full scholarship.
Having played with some of the world’s top jazz musicians such as Maria Schneider, Aaron Goldberg, Kurt Elling, Monty Alexander, Terence Blanchard, Donny McCaslin, George Garzone, Dave Douglas, Bob Moses, Jason Palmer, Ernie Watts and Will Vincent, he continues to be extensively active in the Boston music scene.
James completed his masters degree at New England Conservatorium where he studied with world-class jazz artists Dave Holland, Jerry Bergonzi, and Jason Moran.
