David Eure’s ALLSTAR Band is David Eure (violin), Frank Wilkins (piano), Daniel Day (bass), Zayra Pola Ocasio (drums). This time, we are pleased to feature the awesome and breathtaking vocalist Sympli Whitney. She is a supreme force bringing her regal, sophisticated, commanding, sizzling, gritty and soulful vocal stylings. This band, coddled from the best session and club players, is bringing on the funk in the wildest, grittiest and sophisticated way. Seat belts are optional, but recommended. Not to be missed.

David Eure virtually transforms the violin into a human voice, embodying a soulful sound with precision, clarity and finesse. He effortlessly bridges classical and jazz styles with elegant aplomb. In addition to playing at Amazing Things, he’s performed with the likes of Yusef Lateef, Webster Lewis and Ran Blake, and performed for President Clinton. He teaches at New England Conservatory of Music. Sympli Whitney was raised in Framingham and got her early singing in gospel choir, is a US veteran, and has sung alongside George Clinton, was on the UK Top Soul Chart and now performs in a variety of clubs, private functions and festivals....
