Contemporary Classic Jazz: Eli & The Hot Six honor the New Orleans tradition of ensemble improvising while featuring the solo brilliance of its distinctive, contemporary musical personalities. The band draws its material equally from George Gershwin as from Louis Armstrong with show tunes and pop songs from the 1920s to the 1960s.
