Aida Cuevas Meets Berklee at Berklee Performance Center

Mexican vocalist Aida Cuevas is considered the "Queen of Ranchera Music" She's received 8 Grammy nominations along her career, and has won a Grammy and Latin Grammy for her work in the regional Mexican genre. Aida Cuevas became the first female singer in the traditional mariachi genre to win a Grammy. Her unique voice and style has allowed her to cultivate a successful career for over four decades, being awarded gold and platinum records and performing in some of the best stages around the world.

Performing with a large ensemble of Berklee students, the concert will feature popular ranchero music such as "El Pastor," "México en la Piel" and "Bésame Mucho" arranged by Berklee students.
