Guitarist Steve Fell, sax player Andy Voelker, bassist Jef Charland and drummer Luther Gray are each at the top of their game and are, fortunately for us, ubiquitous in the Boston music scene, in jazz settings and beyond. Together, they are Clear Audience, a fantastic quartet that has logged countless hours together, and it shows. Globe music critic Jon Garelick wrote that their 2014 release Medicine Ball was marked by "beautiful sound and full-on adventure." $12 in advance/$15 at the door.
