Quintet Features Brazilian Pop, Samba, Jazz and Bossa Nova Music
March 1 is Carnaval time in Brazil, so kick off the month of March in Mardi Gras style; come see the Fernando Holz band play Brazilian jazz, pop and bossa novas at the Acton Jazz Cafe. Audience members are encouraged to wear Mardi Gras attire; the best costume will win a free Fernando Holz CD, titled Minh’alma Nua (My Nude Soul). To add to the festive atmosphere the Cafe will also serve caipirinhas, a traditional Brazilian rum drink.
