Greek Music Ensemble CD Release Concert at Berklee Performance Center

The Greek Music Ensemble is releasing its second CD entitled Manos and Mikis. This concert will celebrate the music of Mikis Theodorakis and Manos Hadjidakis, the two major figures of Greek 20th century Art music who successfully married poetry with music for more than 50 years, creating an aesthetic product of high artistic and emotional value. The Greek Music Ensemble and a 15-member orchestra will present their unique arrangements of Manos and Mikis songs, that bring out the stylistic subtleties, beauty and idiosyncrasy of the music.
