Formed in 2005, Para Quintet is Boston based and comprises of Percussionist and Artist Laurence Cook, Trumpeter Forbes Graham, Alto Saxophonist Jim Hobbs, Pianist Steve Lantner and Bassist Jacob William.
Para Quintet explores form and content at the nexus between creatively composed and improvised music. Constantly defying musical conventions with long, spontaneously improvised sections punctuated by signifying interruptions.
