Juanito Pascual is also the presenter of the concert--and a huge fan of Julian Lage. "I am excited about this event for so many reasons." says Pascual. "For one, Julian is such a remarkable musician that doing this concert feels something like doing a double-bill with Mozart." He adds "The evening will showcase two very different guitarists who are each influenced in contrasting ways by jazz, classical, world-music and improvisation. It is also the Boston debut of my current project, The Juanito Pascual New Flamenco Trio and will be a chance for audiences to get a preview of the debut album we are currently recording with Grammy-winning sound engineer Rob Griffin.
