On Saturday, October 4th at 8 it's the piano and drums duo Kevin Harris & Steve Langone. No less an authority than Fred Hersch says,"Kevin Harris plays and writes with flair and real soul." It's been a busy year for the New York based pianist, whose touring has taken him to such places as Lima and Shanghai. Drummer Steve Langone has been a mainstay of the area scene for more than 20 years, and his "understated, multi-faceted, driving approach to percussion, tinted a bit with some Latin rhythms" (Dan McClenaghan, AllAboutJazz.com) has earned him an incredible resume and reputation. There's a special energy in a duo, and I can't wait to hear this one
