I'm very excited to welcome pianist Kevin Harris back to Mandorla Music. His past appearances have been dazzling & joyous (and sold out), and listeners always leave feeling like they've not only witnessed an incredible concert, but have been part of something very special. Kevin is very busy on the New York scene and maintains strong ties to Boston, where he lived for years and continues to teach at Berklee. For this concert, he'll celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Thelonious Monk, joined by a top shelf pair of collaborators: bassist John Lockwood and drummer Bob Gullotti of Boston free jazz institution The Fringe.
