For the second time, Driff Records is celebrating it’s summer CD releases, with an exciting festival featuring some of the Boston area’s most prominent improvisers. This year we feature a solo set by Tony Malaby, one of the most important tenor players of creative music today. Tony is a highly in-demand player in New York and has worked with numerous of his own groups, but his solo work is relatively new and rare to hear. Tony will also join in for the Driff Large Ensemble, featuring compositions by Pandelis Karayorgis and Jorrit Dijkstra.
