A native of Odessa Ukraine, Maxim Lubarsky is a virtuoso at the piano. Maxim was originally trained as a classical pianist at Stolyarsky school of Music and Odessa State Conservatory. Already in school he has developed a passion for jazz and received a scholarship to come to Berklee College of Music to further his studies. Maxim has won numerous competitions and has received several awards. Since moving to the US, Maxim has performed and recorded with numerous renown musicians such as Steeve Gett, Abraham Laboriel, Gabrielle Goodman, Rhiannon, Patrice Rushen, Greg Osby, Dave Samuels, Terri Lynn Carrington and participated in Bean-Town Jazz Festival, Cambridge Music Festival, ArtsNaples World Festival, Diacetum Festival (Italy), Usadba Jazz Festival (Russia) to name a few. Maximhas become a yearly performer at the Spoleto festival in Charleston, S. Carolina where in 2009. He was invited to perform Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue” with festival Symphony Orchestra. He continues a vivid performing and recording career, leading Maxim Lubarsky Group and working on several other projects with musicians from around the world....
