Pianist Michael McNeill was briefly active on the Boston jazz scene, but left in 2008 for Buffalo, where he's since become an integral part of that city's thriving creative music community. His debut CD Passageways — with veterans Phil Haynes (drums) and Ken Filiano (bass, another one-time Boston denizen) — has received excellent reviews.
