Rich Greenblatt and Nick Grondin join curator Brian Friedland, creating a layered, detailed sonic experience. Tonight, they’ll swing and improvise on rarely-called tunes from the iconic “Real Book,” the first collection of notated lead sheets that jazz musicians have been playing from since the ’70s. They’ll be joined by Bruno Råberg and Steve Langone. The set is followed by a curated jam on the theme of obscure Real Book tunes.
